Secrets of "108"

While chanting “Om”, 108 types of special penetrating sound waves are generated which are the root cause of physical and mental development and the complete destruction of the cause of any kind of physical and mental fatal diseases. There is a very strong reason in the development of intellectual development and memory power.

108 This wonderful and miraculous number has been used for a long time with the names of our sages.

(01) - These metrics (18 vowels +36 consonants = 54) start from the navel and come to the feet, once they ascend, the second time they descend, in both the times they become the number of 108. Thus by chanting 108 mantras, 108 subtle tanmatras from the navel chakra to the jivagra get swelled. As much as possible is best, but at least 108 mantras should be chanted daily.

= (4 fingers) is 27 times.
= 4 × 27 = 108
 

(03) Total number of Nakshatras = 27
Phases of each Nakshatra = 4
Specific number of chanting = 108
 

(04) - a wonderful proportionality mystery
★ Distance from Earth to Sun / Diameter of Sun = 108
★ Distance of Moon from Earth / Diameter of Moon = 108
That is, chanting the mantra should not be less than 108.
 

(05) The number of violent sins has been considered to be 36, which are done in 3 types of mind, word and deed. That is, 36×3=108, therefore the chanting of mantras for the retirement of sinful deeds must be done at least 108.
 

(06) Normally a person breathes 21600 times in 24 hours. Out of the 24 hours of the day and night, 12 hours are spent in sleeping and household duties and in the remaining 12 hours the person breathes is 10800 times. One should meditate on God during this time. According to the scriptures, one should meditate on God on every breath. That is why on the basis of this number of 10800, we determine the number of 108 for chanting.
 

(07) Sun changes 21600 phases in a year. The Sun also changes its position twice a year. Six months remain in Uttarayan and six months in Dakshinayana. Hence the Sun is a position of six months.It changes phase 108000 times.
 

(08) The universe is divided into 12 parts. The names of these 12 parts are - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Nine planets Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu move in these 12 zodiac signs. Therefore, multiplying the number of zodiac signs by 12 in the number 9 of the planets, the number 108 is obtained.
 

(09) 108 has three digits, 1+0+8. In these, a “1” is a symbol of God. God has one being, i.e. God is 1 and mind is also one, zero “0” represents nature. Eight “8” represents the soul, because only by the Ashtanga rules of yoga, the soul can meet GOD. The person who detaches from the eight origins of nature through Ashtanga Yoga and realizes God is called a Siddha Purush. Jiva “8” One has to take the help of Prakriti “0” to meet the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul. In between God and the living entity, there is nature. There is momentary happiness in Prakriti “0” and infinite and limitless in Paramatma. As long as the living entity does not renounce nature “0” which is inert, that is, will not make zero, will not give up the illusion of illusion, then the soul will not leave “8 “Ishwar” 1" will not be able to achieve perfection (1+8=9). 9 is a sign of perfection.

Thus, total properties of nature = 44
Attributes of Jiva = 10
Thus the sum of the number = 54
Hence the number of creation = 54
And the number of catastrophe = 54
Sum of both the numbers = 108
 

(12) The number "1" is a sign of a god.
The number "0" is a sign of root nature.
The number "8" is a sign of the multidimensional soul.

One thing is true from the number “2” to “9” that in these eight digits there is life in the form of “0”. Therefore, if “0” is not there, then no sequence calculation etc. can be done. The game of "8" with the consciousness of "1". “8” means “2” to “9”. What is this “8”? “8” class or senses of the mind. These eight houses are – 1. Kama (different desires/lusts). 2. Anger. 3. Greed. 4. Moh. 5. Madness (Pride). 6. Matsar (Jealousy) 7. Knowledge 8. Vairaga.

(13) Nine rays emerge from one side of the Sun, the head of the solar system, and they come out separately from all four sides. In this way a total of 36 Rashmis became. * On the sounds of these 36 Rashmis, 36 vowels of Sanskrit should be formed.


 In this way, when the nine rays of the Sun reach the earth, they collide with the eight planets of the earth. The 72 types of sounds produced by the collision of the nine rays of the Sun and the eight Basus of the earth became 72 consonants of Sanskrit. Thus a total of 108 sounds emanating in the universe are based on the varna mala of Sanskrit.
